To be considered for admission to MSBVI, you must be blind or visually impaired. You must also meet the following criteria: Applicants must be residents of Michigan Applicants must be at least 16 years old Applicants must be able to demonstrate English proficiency in a satisfactory manner Applicants must be proficient in Braille, American Sign Language, or both Applicants must be able to demonstrate a need for the program MSBVI’s three-year recruitment program will accept up to 50 students annually.
Mshp crash reports four fatalities, several accidents
The Mississippi State Highway Patrol reported today that a series of wrecks, including a multi-vehicle crash which caused the deaths of two people and left three others injured, resulted in fatalities and injuries throughout the state.
The first wreck occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. Thursday when a car driven by an 18-year-old male from Oxford struck another car. The second wreck occurred around 10:45 a.m. when a semi-truck driven by a 32-year-old male from Tupelo struck a vehicle. The third wreck happened at approximately 11:15 a.m. when a semi-truck driven by a 24-year-old male from Greenwood struck a car on Highway 49 near the intersection of Interstate 55.
A series of traffic crashes that occurred on Sunday, Nov. 19th in the Westwood neighborhood of Philadelphia, killed four people and injured at least 16 others, police said. The incidents involved four separate vehicles and resulted in five collisions.
According to Philly.com, the first incident occurred at the intersection of 52nd Street and West Chester Pike at 7:21 p.m. A woman driving a Honda CRV was attempting to make a left-hand turn from West Chester Pike onto 52nd Street. When she was hit by an SUV that was heading east on West Chester Pike. The SUV then struck a second CRV that was waiting to make a right-hand turn onto West Chester Pike from 52nd Street.
