The Mississippi State Highway Patrol reported today that a series of wrecks, including a multi-vehicle crash which caused the deaths of two people and left three others injured, resulted in fatalities and injuries throughout the state.
The first wreck occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. Thursday when a car driven by an 18-year-old male from Oxford struck another car. The second wreck occurred around 10:45 a.m. when a semi-truck driven by a 32-year-old male from Tupelo struck a vehicle. The third wreck happened at approximately 11:15 a.m. when a semi-truck driven by a 24-year-old male from Greenwood struck a car on Highway 49 near the intersection of Interstate 55.
